medlar fruits are faszinating.
looking kind of wooden, hard and inaccessible from the outside,
they offer a sweet and mellow puree inside.
those sparkling sweet drops of nectar, that show like dewdrops in the morning
- after the first freezing nights - at the end of october,
are emitting a rich, seductive scent and evoke, that medlars belong to the rose family.
The sweet pulps taste is reminiscent of apples and pears - with a hint of roses.
But, as the precious aromatic treasure cannot be separated easily from the five stones,
the fruit seems to tell us: enjoy the very moment!
This nearly erotic sensuality cannot be conserved
